Were you aware of the importance of attending live events?

Why do I love attending live events to grow my business?

The fabulous thing about live events is the opportunity for live, personal interaction which isn’t available in any other context.

Don’t you get super excited when you enter an auditorium with hundreds of other folk all after the same thing? In today’s climate, we need to connect with others in order to ’shake it up’ and keep the ball rolling. The adrenalin rushes through you as you find a seat and strike up a conversation or two with other like-minded attendees. The music blares over the sound system to fire you up as the host of the event calls out for everyone to be seated. It’s time to start.

In eager anticipation, you sit and wait for the presentations to begin.

Benefits of Live Events

Participants arrive at live events, hungry to see the presenters and discover the information they have to offer, as well as looking for insight, tips and tricks on new ways to improve their business. The benefits are fantastic as each presenter expertly passes on information in their specialty - and we immediately begin devising strategies of how we can implement the ideas into our own business.

These live events to accelerate in business ensure that our marketing plans are on track, and provide all the information we need to achieve impressive results. We feel ‘charged’ as we know that our business can do with input of suggestions given by the speakers.

How to Turn Your Passion into Passive Revenue
Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Today’s article is by James Roche will show you just

How to Turn Your Passion into Passive Income.

Isn’t that something we’d all like to do?

Take the following tips from James and be on your own way to earning passive revenue from your passions.

Yes, you CAN make mon*ey with your passion…if you know the shortcut secrets. I’ve worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs in over thirty industries and I’ve discovered the TOP SIX steps to successfully turn your passion into passive revenue…

Step 1 – Find Your ONE Passion That Will Easily Turn To Profits

No doubt, you are passionate about a lot of things. But if you want to build a profitable business, you have to focus on the ONE passion that will generate the most money with the least effort. How do you choose which one? Well, think of it this way…

In business, you’re #1 goal is to help people solve problems. So which of your many passions can most easily translate into helping others solve problems? The more value you add to other people’s lives by solving their immediate problems, the more money you’ll make.

Step 2 – Find a Hungry Crowd Who Wants What You Offer

If you’re passionate about something, what do you want to do with all that knowledge and energy inside of you? You want to express it, right? Shout it from the rooftops! But the question is…

Do people want what you offer? If you solve problems for people, are they motivated enough to pay for a solution to their problems?

The key to business success is finding a target market HUNGRY enough to pay you for your products and services. Because there’s usually a BIG difference between what you think people need vs. what they actually want. Your task is to align your passion with a market that’s hungry for what you offer.

Step 3 – Capture Your Market’s Attention

If you’re clear about the problems you solve, and there are people out there looking for the solution…you have to alert them that you have the Golden Key that will set them fr*ee!

…and you’ve got about three seconds to tell them you hold the key.

Find a way to sum up the bottom-line end result you offer people in less than ten words. Because all your market really cares about is the end result they’ll get if they buy your product or service. Your ten words will be used in your headline, tagline and information product titles.

Step 4 – Communicate Your Solution Fast and Effectively

Once you’ve got their attention, you need to connect with them…fast.

Think of your marketing message as a nine minute conversation over a cup of coffee. You have to tell your potential client what’s the end result they will get, why you are the one to help them, why they should care, proof that you’re the one to help, a little bit about how you will help them, reassurance that there’s no risk on them to try and what they need to do now to take advantage of your offer.

Step 5 – Turn Your Solution into a System

Your clients want the simplest, shortest path to the results they desire. The best way to help them get from points A to Z the fastest way possible is to you’re your knowledge into a system. If you’re clear on the end result, you can design a program that walks your clients through, step-by-step, exactly how to achieve what they want.

If you work one-on-one with clients, chances are you are already using a system to guide people through – you just may not realize it yet. In my experience, every service business has a step-by-step system. Your task is to remove yourself enough from what you do so naturally and easily and identify the steps you take people through.

Step 6 – Turn Your System into Information Products

Here’s where you make the most money with your passion…

Once you’ve identified the step-by-step process you take people through to solve their problems, turn that model into an information product! The best part is, you can package your system into multiple products and programs because people prefer learn differently – visual, auditory and experientially.

So you can turn your system into special reports, eBooks, home study kits, videos, group coaching programs, live events…the list goes on and on. Each information product you create is a manifestation of your original passion. Each is another stream of passive revenue you can generate.

You can do this.

Remember, there are people out there right now WAITING for you to show up in their lives and help them solve a problem. They’re holding their wallets – ready to hand money to you…if you show up. It’s your choice now whether you want to turn your passion into a business and offer them the solutions that you know you have within you.

I invite you to take the leap and share your gifts with the world. You will be rewarded by having the freedom and lifestyle you desire.

Six Principles for Success
Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

In these times of economic melt-down, focus must be made on all the tips and strategies to stay on top. The following article by Dale Beaumont outlines Six Principles of Success to override these tough times.

WEAR YOUR UNDERWEAR ON THE OUTSIDE:
Some superpowers you need for business success
By Dale Beaumont

Picture this: an eerie place overwhelmed with blackness where the only source of light is the fiery blazes of upturned cars. And it flickers off the tiny shards of glass that spreads itself over footpaths lined with chalky silhouettes of deceased citizens.

Imagine this. But not for too long, as you know that thieves lurk within every shadow and that chaos should always be expected. Then spare a thought for those who prevent it. Those dedicated few who we all like to call SUPERHEROES.

We have all thought about how life would be as superheroes with superpowers. However, to avoid chaos within a business we must do more than just think.

Here are some superhero powers that successful people use to prevent disorder and anarchy within their business.

Laser Vision

Remain focused. Once successful people have defined their aims and outcomes, they zero in on that one thing. Make up your decision and stick to it.

According to property investors, Gary and Jenny Leather, focus is an important element of their success and a piece of advice they offer new property investors. Stop your mind from wandering by focusing on your goals.

Invisibility

Business success requires effort, dedication and sacrifice. But lets face it - you don’t want to be working hard for your entire business career.

Margaret Lomas, founder of Destiny Group, says “when you start a business of your own, your first goal should be to get out of it.” Your success of your business should not deteriorate when you are not there. This is the difference between being ’self-employed’ and being ‘in business.’ So, your first goal in business should be to make yourself invisible.

Flight

While it is important to pay attention to detail, ensure that you also consider the big picture. This may require you to stand back or adopt a bird’s eye view of your business.

Douglas Foo, founder of Apex-Pal International, understands that it is not only important to have a big picture of your company, but also “a good overall picture of the developments and changes in the world and how these changes affect the company.”

Danger Sense

Successful people are able to see danger in advance. Their ability to detect challenges and obstacles before they occur allow them to make decisions and take the necessary action to avoid complications.

Brad Sugars, Action International Chairman, believes that in today’s business world everything is about handling change. He says “be proactive and know what’s going to happen because you’re the one making it happen.”

Strong Superman Incredible Strength

To operate a business, you will require incredible strength. There will be times when you need to go beyond the call of duty to achieve your goals and overcome the challenges and obstacles that impede your path to success.

In 2001, Cleanevent founder, Craig Lovett, made a mistake that almost resulted in the loss of everything, including his business and house. Craig demonstrated extraordinary strength in rebuilding his business and he is now considered one of the most experienced event and venue cleaning and waste strategy experts in the world.

Super Stretch

Do not be afraid to stretch beyond your comfort zone. When you move outside your comfort zone you will experience fear, but from that fear you will grow and achieve success.

Property investor, Peter Comben, was employed as a primary school teacher for sixteen years before he realised that he was in a comfort zone. In an effort to challenge himself and stretch his abilities, Peter left his job and pursued his passion for property.

In Summary

If you want to soar over destruction and mayhem to achieve great heights, then perhaps it’s time for you to start using superpowers that will be productive for your business. Determine what you want to achieve then decide what undies go best with your tie or blouse, because when it comes to business there is nothing wrong with wearing your underwear on the outside.
