How to Find Your Micro Niche to Guarantee You Become The Expert
Are your marketing strategies targeting the whole fruit salad or just the apples?
There is a saying in business:
"Have everyone in your target market and you'll have no one for a client."
Imagine going to the fruit market to purchase the items of fruit to cut up for your fruit salad.
Firstly, have a look at the gourds such as watermelons, rockmelons, cantaloupes and honeydews. Then we find the citrus fruits including oranges, mandarins, tangerines, nectarines, lemons, limes, grapefruit, cumquats and tangelos.
Next we move on to the tropical fruit such as bananas, mangoes, coconuts, papayas, guavas, figs, custard apples, lychees and dates. As well we can cut up peaches, kiwifruit and rhubarb. How about common fruit such as green grapes, purple grapes, cherries, plums, apricots and pears?
We soon visit the aisle with the just some of the berries to choose from – strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, blackberries, wineberries, loganberries, bilberries, mulberries, gooseberries, honeberries and blueberries.
Finally you say you just want to add some apple to the fruit salad bowl so you pick up a shiny, plump red apple.
Congratulations, you have managed to find your niche. Apples!
But did you know there are over 80 varieties of apples? To name a few, they could be granny smiths, red delicious, golden delicious, fugis, pink ladies, pippins, cameos or jonathons.
By deciding to add just one or two of these varieties of apples to the delicious bowl of mouth watering fruit salad, it's time to give yourself a well deserved pat on the back.
Why? Because now you have dug deep enough to determine your micro niche.
As soon as you dig down through the layers of your industry and identify your narrowed market, you can easily become the specialist expert by you focusing your marketing efforts and your expertise on providing your solutions for this micro niche.
You will not only attract clients like crazy and fill your marketing funnel but you will also create a sustainable, profitable business and stand out as the expert in your field.
And how sweet those apples are!
